UK Action Cars are a Television Action Cars and Stunt Cars company supporting the British Television and Media industries. We are located deep in the East Sussex countryside.
Rising from the short oval raceways of the United Kingdom, UK Action Cars have taken their many years of Stock Car Racing experience and created a reliable, knowledgeable team.
Lead by one of the country’s top Stock Car and Banger drivers, Steve ‘Cecil’ Anscombe, the UK Action Cars team comprises of people with a diversity of talents and experience that, when combined, form something quite special. We have people from all walks of life; mechanics, engineers, race car drivers, class 1 HGV drivers, web designers – all working to provide you with the best possible service.
Our first venture in to the world of television started way back in 2004 when we were contacted by the BBC Top Gear team to build and supply ‘Piggy Back’ cars for the BBC Sport Relief event. Since then we have worked, and appeared, on various television shows including many appearances and projects for the aforementioned Top Gear, as well as a whole host of projects for Fifth Gear, Vroom Vroom, Ant and Decs Saturday Night Takeaway and Brainiac. We also appeared as a competing team on Brainiac’s Test Tube Baby and Episode 7 of the Sky One show, Safebreakers in 2011.
Aside from supplying Action Cars and Stunt Cars, we also provide Promotional Vehicles for any occasion and have appeared in many national publications over the years, including; Max Power, Fast Car Magazine, Car Dealer, AutoCar, The Sun, The Express and The Sunday Times, as well as many local newspapers and oval racing publications.
